Artist Statement:
Murals represent my work on a larger scale, painted either directly on the wall, ceiling, or studio-painted and attached to the surface. I call these porta-murals which can be relocated to another site. These were especially popular in public schools. The school pieces were generally done on 1/4" birch plywood panels, painted with acrylic and clear coated. Content of these pieces were largely educational and motivational. The majority of these originated in a school for special needs in the Rockingham N.C. area.
