ARTNAMES

          Artnames originated in 1991 when asked by local arts festival to produce a design to be used on posters, cards, t-shirts, etc.. Each letter was used as an analogy to depict local imagery, primarily natural and historical. The shape of the letter would determine the particular image in conjunction with the negative space. Then I began doing them for children based on their interests. From there, I did them for adults, businesses and other themes. To order an artname, information is to be provided along with a deposit and lead time. These are painted with watercolor on cotton rap and shipped directly to the client. Inquires are welcomed.
